The House
Ca' Montalcino is a delightful little apartment located within the walls of the ancient castle of San Giovanni d'Asso, one of the beautiful villages of Montalcino, in the heart of the Val d'Orcia.
It consists of a double bedroom, a living room, kitchen and bathroom. It is ideal for two or three people; in the living room there is a single sofa bed.
The house, renovated in 2018, overlooks a characteristic courtyard with a well and has a small courtyard on the back suitable for relaxing in good weather. A room in the basement houses the laundry and can host guests' bikes.
From San Giovanni d'Asso you can easily reach many of the most evocative destinations in the area: from Pienza to Bagno Vignoni, to Rapolano Terme, to Montepulciano and Montalcino itself. Siena, Arezzo, Perugia and the seaside are about an hour away.
The house is equipped with: wi-fi, air conditioning, heating, washing machine, iron, hairdryer, vacuum cleaner, induction hob, kettle.
